Harkers Coxoid

Coxoid is only licensed for use in pigeons and is used for the treatment and prevention of Coccidiosis, often known as 'Going Light'.

Coxoid is a water-soluble treatment to treat and prevent the re-occurrence of coccidiosis in pigeons; an enteric disease caused by single-cell organisms which affect the intestines of pigeons and is most severe in young birds.

Coccidiosis in pigeons is characterised by progressive loss of colour, paleness of the mouth and throat and dull plumage. Loss of weight may also occur and droppings will appear discoloured and watery.

Instructions for use
Coxoid comes as a liquid that is administered diluted with drinking water.

Water soluble treatment for coccidiosis added to the drinking water for 7 days. An improvement can be expected within 2 days.

Available in 112ml and 500ml which treats 30 birds and 130 respectively.

Contains Amprolium Hydrochloride 3.84% w/v
